I have a 2004 ES330 when a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but subsequently I go all but turns upon onto highway ramps, taking into consideration I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon bearing in mind the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights outlook on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. subsequent to I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant on 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model thus it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take the TPS is integrated with the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you want the mechanic to know previously I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me say you a little more practically the trouble history. It currently has a master tech qualified idle air run valve and tps installed. without disturbing anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would manage in the car without this symptom.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode in view of that I'd recommend to create definite the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly ashore subsequent to carbon. and then get used to the TPS fittingly that the IDL stick is continuous to the E2 fasten subsequently the throttle is closed, and right of entry circuit in the same way as the throttle is just cracked. Don't cause problems practically any voltages, the IDL edit is the essentially important one.
