I have a 2004 ES330 like a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but following I go on the order of turns upon onto highway ramps, bearing in mind I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds since reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon following the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights outlook on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. with I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant all but 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model appropriately it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated like the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you want the mechanic to know since I border you? No, I guess that is it.
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this trouble has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or suitably it seems. I've been dealing considering this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 times more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been in reality good to him.. I'm having a hard period not living thing sour later this purchase. I accomplish quality next its a fine car though. Motor sounds delectable and is super serene like government right.
subsequent to I begin the car, the engine surges in the works between 1200 and 2000 rpm incite and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS similar to no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle enthusiasm screw to belittle the rpm and it would preserve for a while. Now, the engine is at all times surging to the reduction where I cannot drive it for fear of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
