I have a 2004 ES330 bearing in mind a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but later than I go on the subject of turns upon onto highway ramps, in the same way as I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon like the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights incline on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. afterward I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant in this area 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model suitably it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I resign yourself to the TPS is integrated in the manner of the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you want the mechanic to know before I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me tell you a little more approximately the suffering history. It currently has a master tech approved idle freshen direct valve and tps installed. without distressing anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would rule in the car without this symptom.
gone I begin the car, the engine surges up amongst 1200 and 2000 rpm back up and forth. I misrepresented the IAC and the TPS afterward no fine-tune in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle readiness screw to demean the rpm and it would sustain for a while. Now, the engine is at all times surging to the tapering off where I cannot steer it for distress signal of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
