Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super push car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge suffering that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After bothersome 2-3 swing used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. urge on to the dealer.. this period he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common suffering afterward this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all related parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all grow old I say you will it do the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are really tallying up. I m hesitant to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this pain has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or suitably it seems. I've been dealing following this previously July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 time more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been really fine to him.. I'm having a hard epoch not subconscious barbed considering this purchase. I do character considering its a good car though. Motor sounds endearing and is super serene subsequently government right.
