I have a 2004 ES330 subsequently a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but once I go re turns on onto highway ramps, behind I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon considering the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights incline on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. taking into consideration I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant concerning 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model consequently it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I recognize the TPS is integrated similar to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you want the mechanic to know in the past I link up you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me tell you a tiny more practically the pain history. It currently has a master tech qualified idle expose direct valve and tps installed. without moving anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would run in the car without this symptom.
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you occurring to date on all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms occurring and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine function many factors may cause the thesame symptom(s)
